These Stone Lantern fertilizers performed so well that they are now my primary fertilizers. Most of my trees are in the development stage and need heavier fertilizing and growth. I use Green Growth for my deciduous trees and Green Balance for my conifers and azaleas. I switch everything to Green Balance in the fall. For azaleas, I use an additional product to add acidity to the soil. I'm very happy with these two products.

I ordered 2 items: I received the 1st item, an 8# bag of Green Growth 12-4-5 pellets. When it arrived it looked like the bag had been dragged over cement. It had several long scratch marks over the back side; some pellets had spilled out. The shipping box and packaging material was undamaged. I still had the black plastic bag from my prior order, so I emptied the torn bag contents into the empty bag.
The 2nd item was a bonsai saw. I thought I had ordered one of shorter length that would fit easily into my bonsai tool box. The one I received is too long to fit, but it still works O.K. I expected it to have much finer teeth for smoother cut. The first cut was removal of a dead 5/8" limb 9" long from a Live Oak. The cutting process seemed to take forever ! But it worked.

I use both Green growth and Green balance, so far the plants seem to love them!!!

The new fertilizer seems to be helping. My trees are responding very well.. There is much less dust and broken pieces. Two lb. package is good size for a small grower like me (50 pluss trees). My two large (3ft x 8ft) grow plots are producing much healther, faster growth.
You have a fan.
Thank you from the North Georgia Mountains.
