My first season with this product, so it's difficult to give a good report. Other than so far so good, everyone seems to be liking.
One note I'd like to pass along: I had a bit of thievery when I first set out the cakes. Seems while none of the critters here care for the pellets I use, everybody just loved the plant based rape seed cakes when they were fresh. About half the first order disappeared. Once the cakes got saturated they lost their appeal and they haven't been bothered since. Chipmunks, foxes, red and gray squirrels and turkeys all got a share. I'm contemplating pre soaking the cakes before I set them out. Try a small batch first and see if it makes a difference. Got it!

Ordering was easy. Arrival time was quick. Everything was as ordered and stated . Nice tools.

I like them almost as much as my trees do. The trees really thrive when fed with these cakes. There is one problem: birds and squirrels love them, too. If I put the cakes in the usual plastic cages, the critters will chew threw the cages or rip them out of the ground to get at the cakes. But, I persist!

I started making my own organic fertilizer cakes a long time ago. After a few years, their smell while drying became a bit too much. So, I switched to these cakes a number of years ago and have not had any second thoughts about my decision to buy them. They last a long time and my trees stay green throughout the growing season. Putting them in small plastic baskets keeps everything tidy, too.
