Olive 2

Olives are originally from the Mediterranean area but are now grown in warm climates throughout much of the world. They are prized for their fruit (think martinis, Greek salads and pizza). You can grow them outside in mild climates (light frost is okay, but hard frost might not be). They are relatively easy to grown and and can live for hundreds and even thousands of years. 

Watering and other care is more or less the same for most semi tropical bonsai, though you might want to do a little research about details.
