Golden Sawara Cypress - D209

This variety cypress (more technically false cypress) is both beautiful and very winter hardy. I grew this particular plant in my landscape garden here in norther Vermont for about fifteen years and decided to move it to a tie pot in April so it would ready to sell now. Other than a little trimming and stripping two dead branches, It has had minimal bonsai work so the rest is up to you. 

If you would like it to maintain its brilliant color (much brighter than the photos) it will require several hours a day of direct sun. Otherwise care is the same as other Sawara (pisifera) cypress. For more detailed care information for most bonsai you might visit a local bonsai club or do some online research.
