Bonsai With American Trees - Out of Print
This long out of print and very rare book is charmingly misnamed by two very famous giants of Japanese bonsai. Instead of solely native American trees, it features trees which have been available in some U.S. nurseries for at least fifty years. An obvious example of non-American variety that is found here, is Japanese maple. And there are several others.
If I had to give this book a different name it would be something like, A Beginning and Intermediate Guide to Bonsai with Species That Can Be Found in American Nurseries.
