My first one, after many years of loyal service, was slightly damaged (repaired with a tad of superglue). To be on the safe side, I added another. The new one seems to have a slightly heavier discharge. I like it!

Had a brass watering wand and the head kept coming off. Well, I finally lost it ( the head)

This wand is much gentler than a regular hose attachment. The length is also handy for reaching multiple rows of plants.

I finally found a spray wand with a fine spray. The 1st time I used it, the screen got slightly clogged with rusty metal debris inside. I simply removed the screen collar, ran water through wand to remove any more stuff, rinsed screen, good to go.

I agree with April F. Only way to really control the power of the volume is at the hose outlet.
The adapter used is not up to the quality of the chrome and head portion of this device. I turn the volume down to below half from the faucet. Hence it take longer to water but I no longer loose soil.

I have tried using watering wands from my local gardening store. They were just OK, to much water and force. This wand is exactly what I have been looking for.

Tiiming was perfect. I needed to upgrade to a new watering wand and, voila, Wayne discounted this one! It was pretty much exactly the same as my VERY old one. The updated model seems a bit sturdier, especially the ring that holds the mesh nozzle in place. The spray emitted is surprisingly gentle, but provides a good soaking in a short time.

Works great, while it lasts. Mine is about 3 years old, gets used about 30 min/week. While the shaft is stainless steel, the head that holds the nozzle is pot metal and mine has corroded through. I did expect it to last longer.

I was loosing a lot of soil with my regular hose nozzle on "shower" and unfortunately the Bonsai Watering Wand does much the same. I was hoping it would have a finer spray so as not to displace the soil but that is not the case and I have to turn the flow control way down to avoid soil loss.
