I really like these screens but not for bonsai pots. The holes are far to big for that. Instead, I use them in my organic dirt pots, so I can line the bottom with x-large pumice. Not sure why the holes are so big, but they work great with organic dirt.

When I received the screen, I was really surprised to find the holes to be much larger than any other bonsai screen I had ever seen. The soil I use would definitely go right through the screen. When I realized this I thought maybe I ordered the wrong stuff so I emailed you with questions. I never received a response to my email. I was very disappointed as this was the first time I had ever done business with Stone Lantern. I’m not a big complainer and I realize mistakes can be made but why would you completely ignore my email and what is the wisdom behind bonsai screen with such larger holes. Thanks.
