Kanuma Bonsai Soil - Small grain - 1 quart

Kanuma is dug in the Kanuma area of Japan. Japanese bonsai growers have long used and highly recommend Kanuma if you want to grow Azaleas and other broadleaf acid loving bonsai. It's a soft highly acidic volcanic soil that's ideal for its moisture retention and water drainage. Its very porous pebbles have similar physical characteristics as pumice. Though you can mix it with other soils depending upon the type plants and your climate, in Japan azalea growers often use it by itself.
