Variegated Serissa 2
Of the three varieties of Serissa that we know of, this variegated type is the strongest and most adaptable for bonsai. Its flower is a simple single petal white and while It's not as flashy as the Snow rose or Pink Serissa, it is less susceptible to insects, fungus and other diseases.
Serissa are semi-tropical trees which means they can be grown indoors under the right conditions, but are more apt to thrive if they spend plenty of time outdoors when temperatures are above 50F (maybe even lower depending on other conditions). When indoors near an east facing window is probably best. Hot south or west facing windows should probably be avoided, especially in dry indoor air as as with most bonsai and other plants you want to avoid the risk of the hot sun drying the soil out too fast. In general watering instructions are the same as for most other bonsai. For more detailed care information for Serissa and other bonsai, we suggest you visit Bonsai Empire.
